Legislation is looming in Republican run states to amend the Electoral College to reflect the same invalidation of voters as the "Jerry-mandered" state congressional districts accomplish. If this is allowed to proceed 'under the radar' as much of the ALEC legislation has, we will no longer be able to fairly elect a President. States will count Urban areas as having less value than rural areas, and the residents of large cities will find their vote bundled with all others to count for less in numbers than it actually represents. The only way to overcome this is to completely overturn the Electoral College and adopt a "Popular Vote" system. If we do not act now we will have years of unchallenged Republican rule, with no minority representation.
