The requirements for becoming president are extremely lax. We are facing a new leadership which has promised to be even more critical of immigration, even for those who choose to pursue legal routes to become official US citizens.
As our country is touted to be based on "equality", it makes perfect sense that the leader of our citizens should be competent enough to pass the same test which is given to those whom simply wish to live legally in our great country.
I propose that, starting with our recently elected president, this test should be mandatory for both President, and Vice President elect, prior to them being permitted to take office in 2017.
