The Constitution of the United States is clear on how legislation becomes the law of the land, and we, the undersigned, expect elected officials to reject special interest groups’ demands when these groups and affiliations lobby to or communicate their warnings regarding their opposition to established law. The people of the United States have spoken, and we have chosen President Barack Obama to lead our nation; not the Koch Brothers, and not the Christian Evangelicals or the Catholics.
