So many people in this country have profound hearing loss that requires the assistance of hearing aids. Insurance companies including mine, do not cover the cost of these necessary devices. Coverage is not even discounted or limited in nature. Simply put, no support is given to individuals with loss of hearing.
Please support me in my mission to get insurance companies to provide coverage for hearing aids. So many people of all ages and nationalities are forced to live without hearing. The cost of hearing aids are so astronomical that many are unable to afford them. Insurance companies cover eye glasses, contacts, braces, and the like but not hearing aids. Please help me in creating legislature that will introduce the coverage of hearing aids by insurance companies.
