Our nation, the United States of America, was called into being for the will of God, for His purposes from its conception. Our forefathers created our great nation so that we would have the religious freedom to serve our God. Over the years God has been slowly taken out of the picture. Spirituality and holiness have been replaced by sensuality, profanity, self-interest and violence. Keeping the phrase "One nation under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance fulfills the intent of our forefathers, a nation dedicated for God's will and the resulting blessing would be our nation's prosperity. Continuing to remove God from the picture will result in the opposite, a curse to the American people. We are not trying to impose our will on others who do not believe in God...they may freely opt out.
