Many people are being forced to flee Venezuela to escape their governments oppressive nature. The U.S. should rally support among allied Latin American countries to ensure the people have a safe place to live and protest without repercussions. The Venezuelan government has also taken control of the media and like Kent Cooper(worked for 40 years with the associated press) said, " When a government wants to make war it takes control of the news" The venezuelan government has unofficially declared war on its own people.
