Ensure that qualified experts make up at least fifty percent of standing, and special committees including subcommittee.

Created by R.J. on April 20, 2013

Through research I have found that elected officials participating in standing, select, and sub committees have no formal, or informal education -- nor background -- in the areas of their legislative powers. A parent does not take a child to a mechanic to have the child's symptoms checked, the parent takes their child to a medical doctor. Someone whose personal beliefs prevent them from seeing the real world should not serve on a committee devoted to "Science, Space, and Technology" Although some expert testimony is almost always heard the decisions are made by people who have no true understanding of the depth or brevity on the decisions which position dictates they make.
