Ensure Religious Organizations and Churches are NOT Taxed by unwarranted taxes

Created by R.J. on January 19, 2013

We the undersigned petition Barry Soetoro to insure taxes on religious organizations and churches are "tax-exempt" under IRS code section 501(c)(3).
Our positions:
-Church tax exemptions do NOT violate the Establishment clause as erroneously proported. (US Supreme Court, Walz v. Tax Commission of the City of New York, 1970).
- Solutions to the present economic crisis should NOT include taxes on churches, which would increase hardships on the poor and needy as much as $101 billion in costs yearly to the public as well as the federal economic crisis.
- Charitable activities handled by churches are suppossedly managed by private business's, which are for Profit and gain by these business's and government social services which are overwhelmed and would add to the present economic crisis
