Marine Reserve military service-members on Active Duty are having their pay and benefits taken away while still undergoing medical care from injuries, illnesses or diseases incurred on Active Duty. They haven’t been pronounced healed by a Military physician or discharged through the Integrated Disability Evaluation System; Physical Evaluation Board (PEB) for short.
Many of these service-members are being abandoned by the Marine Corps to fend for themselves without any pay and with limited to no benefits at best. This is wrong and needs to be stopped, as it likely contributes to homelessness or worse possibly service-member suicides. No discharges before a Marine reservist is pronounced healed by a military physician or discharged by a PEB.
