Our children should be safe when attending school in this country. I petition the government to ensure that safety.
Every school in this nation should have properly trained armed security officers, along with metal detectors at every entrance, to help protect our children.
No more innocent children should unnecessarily die while attending school, as required.
These steps should have been taken after the tragedy at Columbine. Today, there is another tragedy, where innocent children have died while getting their education at our schools. Today more families are torn apart. It is not necessary, in a country such as ours, and this could have prevented if aggressive steps had been taken after Columbine.
Please, let us not see this happen again.
