Current Federal and DOD regulations ban the carry of personally owned firearms on Military Installations. This restricts the rights of the very women who carry arms to protect those bases from attack by denying them the right toself defense when in transit to and from those Installations. We urge the White House and DoD to revise those regulations to allow Military members and DoD civilian employees to carry legally owned personal firearms on base, there by ensuring their right to adequately defend themselves when transitting to and from thier place of duty. If we can trust these men and women to caryy arms into harms way in our defense, we as Americans owe it to them to ensure their right to self defense when off duty.
