Daoud Nassar is the Director of a novel peace project, Tent of Nations, based on the Nassar family farm in Israeli-occupied territory near Bethlehem. The project contributes to cross-cultural understanding and harmony through its workshops, conferences, and educational programs.
On May 19, 2014, without warning, Israeli bulldozers illegally destroyed more than 1500 fruit-bearing trees and grapevines on the Nassar farm. The trees, almost ready for harvest, were plowed under. Stone terracing was reduced to rubble.
