On May 19, 2014, without warning, Israeli bulldozers illegally destroyed more than 1500 fruit-bearing trees and grapevines on the Nassar family farm near Bethlehem. The trees were almost ready for harvest. Stone terracing was reduced to rubble.
The Nassar farm serves as a base for a novel and effective peace project, Tent of Nations, which contributes to cross-cultural understanding and harmony through its popular workshops, conferences, and hands-on educational programs.
Please ensure that the State of Israel replaces the destroyed assets, provides compensation for revenue lost, and does not engage in similar aggression in the future.
