On May 19, 2014, without warning, Israeli bulldozers illegally destroyed more than 1500 fruit-bearing trees and grapevines on the Nassar family farm near Bethlehem. The trees, almost ready for harvest, were plowed under. Stone terracing was reduced to rubble.
The Nassar farm serves as a base for a novel peace project, Tent of Nations, which, through its workshops, conferences, and educational programs, contributes to cross-cultural understanding and harmony.
Please ensure that the State of Israel replaces the destroyed assets, provides compensation for revenue lost, and does not engage in similar aggression in the future.
