Ensure that the states follow the federal laws, and not let them use VA Disability and Compensation for child support.

Created by A.C. on February 21, 2013

State governments are Ignoring Federal Law in regards to the Veteran Affairs Disability and Compensation awarded to US military Veterans being used as an additional source of income for child support. A war veteran, who was medically retired due to physical and mental harms, has been through enough fighting our countries war, the payment they receive is due damage to their bodies and minds, spouses didn't go to war, children didn't go to war, they were not injured, and VA payments are not considered a income in any manner. Therefore states should not ignore federal law, and should not be allowed to use VA disability and Compensation in determining child support.
