Ensure that before there are any cuts to spending on people, all the subsidies to huge corporations are eliminated.

Before congress is allowed to cut so-called entitlements--Social Security, Medicare, Unemployment, Medicaid and Welfare--cut the billions in subsidies to oil companies, agribusiness, multinationals and other huge corporations that do not need to get rich from our tax dollars.
