Ensure that there is restriction placed on oil speculation as required by the Dodd-Frank Bill that passed a year ago.

Created by L.S. on March 08, 2012

Oil speculators are driving the cost of gas at the pumps to another all time high. It is fact that people are driving less and conserving. Therefore, demand has gone down.
Driving up the cost of oil is hurting those of the American public that can least afford it. If people have to spend more money on gasoline, that leaves less for them to spend elsewhere, thereby negatively affecting the economy, again. It is good news that there has been a slow turn-around in the economy, but the price of oil can certainly turn that back into negative territory.
Please make sure the provisions for restricting oil speculation addressed in the Dodd-Frank Bill are now put into effect as the bill was passed about a year ago.
This is a blatant disregard for this law that needs to be enforced immediately.
