The U.S. Congress no longer represents the citizens of the U.S.
We demand that our Congress becomes accountable to all U.S. citizens. The path to accountability must include:
1)Changing House and Senate procedural rules such as the Senate Filibuster which curtails legislative progress.
2)Reverse or nullify the Citizens United Supreme Court decision.
3)Minimize lobbyist's influence and maximize citizen's influence on the legislative process.
4)Enact election reform to; limit federal campaigns to 4 months, require campaign advertisements to be fact checked before airing, and mandate a minimum number of Lincoln-Douglas debates with experienced non-media moderators for all federal elections.
