Ensure that vacation time for both the Executive and Legislative Branch be eliminated until the budget crisis is solved.

Created by M.E. on December 24, 2012

Both the Executive and Legislative branches should not be authorized to take any vacation time or more than two consecutive days off until they sit down together to solve the current budget crisis. The fact that the Senate has not passed any kind of budget over the past three years is a complete slap in the face to the American public and is indicative of how serious they take their job. The President feels it appropriate to vacation with his family in Hawaii during one of the biggest financial challenges in the history with huge implications for the entire world. Yet again, a slap in the face to every American with great hubris. Let it be known that all leave and liberty for these two branches be suspended until they meet the obligations of their office.
