ensure the validity or our elections by requiring voting machines to have a voter-verified paper trail.

Created by M.R. on February 22, 2013

Electronic voting machines are still widely used despite security concerns. These machines are easily hacked and votes can be changed without anyone knowing the difference. The software is considered proprietary and an be programed to change how votes are counted, regardless of what votes are cast.

With out a voter-verified paper trail, there is no way to ensure that the vote cast is the same as the vote counted. The very integrity of our democratic system is at stake.
