The US is currently one of the only countries on Earth not participating with the internationally respected Working Holiday Visa Program. It allows the open exchange of young adults between the ages of 18-30 to travel and work in most every country on Earth. There are generally no work restrictions other than the 12 month visa expiry date per country. By joining we would be opening the US to short term immigration that generates legal income tax revenue from young working travellers that are eager to learn about US culture and to share their own global perspectives with the American work mates they have while here. The system creates benefits for the workers allowed to visit the US, the Americans allowed to visit other countries, and it helps reduce the appeal of illigal immigration.
