Sit down with business leaders and determine a rebate that will encourage them to set up their employees to work out of their home full time, rather than in the office.
This money could come out of funds earmarked for highways since the more people that work from home, the less money needed for roads.
If done in a big way, this would help several problems, less traffic, less polution, less need for daycare etc. Business could expand without added construction costs, the need to outsource customer service would be lessened, dependance on fossil fuels would be lessened.
People would have more time with their family, making us a stronger society.
Lastly, people could live where they want to rather than being forced to live "near work."
This should be something everyone can get behind.
