Men and women do not risk their lives to be "awarded" the Congressional Medal of Honor. It is bestowed upon them as an act of heroism.
Awards are trained to win either scholastically, athletically or other method. Men and women don't train to "win" the Medal of Honor.
Please sign this to ensure that the terms "award" and "awarded" are never used again with the Congressional Medal of Honor. The term "presented" is more appropriate.
