We the people ask the federal government to Change an existing Administration policy:

Equal Congressional Representation and Equal Voting Rights for the District of Columbia and the people of US Territories

Created by C.F. on July 02, 2016

The District of Columbia and the United States Overseas Territories must be allowed Equal Representation in their Congress. These citizens and nationals are currently being denied a voice in their own House and Senate, denying representation in their own government. We must allow representatives/delegates of these territories and the District of Columbia a vote in the Congress. Furthermore, the citizens of the United States Overseas Territories deserve to have Equal Voting Rights, while giving the Northern Mariana Islands full citizenship and an Equal Right to Vote. We cannot continue to undermine our founding principles of democracy. I ask for these grievances to be put up for a vote in the upcoming Presidential Election, being placed on the ballot for the people to have their say.
