equal financial assistance dependent on where they live, city or rural.

Created by D.B. on July 28, 2015

Living in poverty is one of the hardest things a person can go through. I am mentally & physically handicapped, I own my home and find I need assistance paying for home repair, heat & electric. Living in a rural area means I do not have city water or septic. My water is a deep well, so when the water is used it takes a lot of electricity. My pump for my well just had to be replaced at a cost of $500.00, last time it needed repaired it took all the financial help allowed in one's lifetime. When it comes to the need for help with electric and heat, every month I pay what is required and still there have been many times I have been denied help. All I have to live on is my disability, $734.20 a month. Please have the way these types of assistance are calculated.
