My name is Jason T. Best and I am a paralegal. In 2003-2005 I was in prison for Stolen Property in The State Of Michigan. After I got out I went to Lansing Community College, and after a few years I accomplished a very different life. I now have a degree, and employed doing legal research for a firm in Lansing, Michigan. But I can only live in the worst parts of the city, because the landlords don't care about my history in bad areas. All of the apartments, in all of the surrounding suburban city's, and in my price range have denied me as a result of my conviction in 2003. Management and real estate company's are discriminating against me only because of this. Please sign this petition so Non-Violent and Non-Sexual felons can receive equal housing after 5 years from conviction.Thank you.
