Equal opportunities for expunged felons within hiring process by making felony convictions only used in court not on app

Created by D.J. on August 11, 2013

In the US our hiring process is set up to fail because persons with previous felony convictions are "written off" and treated as hardened criminals. Support me in my efforts by voting to removing all hiring agencies (government and private sectors) ability to request their applicants to disclose felony and misdemeanor convictions that have been expunged. Secondly remove (government and private sectors) access to these documents and only allow them to be used by the courts. In removing this information we eliminate preconceived notions of one another that should not be a factor in determining job qualifications. We need everyone to assist in getting our economy back on track and I believe, it is not the situations that you have gotten into but how you come out of them that tell your story.
