Equal treatment for the 3.7 million American citizens living in Puerto Rico with respect to e-commerce.

Created by G.L. on January 24, 2012

While the citizens of the United States are transitioning to an age were trade of information and goods are increasingly making the quality of life better for almost all Americans, 3.7 million Americans are being left behind. It does not have to be that we can not freely engage in e-commerce with the Continental United States, having the same reasonable restriction that Hawaii and Alaska have.

This petitions for the federal government to make e-commerce with sites like e-bay and amazon in Puerto Rico as accessible as eCommerce of Alaska or Hawaii with the continental US. Further more, many content providers do not stream content to Puerto Rico, leaving our residents in a media vacuum.
