Equality in Budget Cuts Pertaining to Military and Veteran Compensation

Created by S.G. on December 20, 2013

The US Military makes incredible sacrifices for our country including losing time with family, their health, and in nearly 6800 incidents since 2001, their lives.
The US budget needs improvement and sacrifices will have to be made, but the US military has made their sacrifice.
If our legislators decide it is necessary to cut military benefits they should surrender an equivalent amount of their salary compounded by each cut they make that would deny them a percentage of their pay equal to any and all compensation they take from service members or veterans. If our government feels it is necessary to limit compensation to our military and veterans they should stand with our service members and share the same dedication to our nation by sharing that sacrifice; if not in combat, then economics.
