Equality of hairstyle regulations in the US Armed Forces.

To promote uniformity among the Armed Forces and equality between the sexes, all military personnel should conform to the same hair length and hairstyle regulations.
Among all Armed Forces, when a recruit enters initial training (i.e. Basic Training, Boot Camp), all personnel will have their heads shaven. This is as much for hygiene as it is for uniformity.
For all permanent party personnel, the separate branches of the Armed Forces will adhere to their own standards, but those standards will be applied equally among all personnel, regardless of sex. Hair style regulations will be applied equally to all male and female service members, and out of concern for both hygiene and utility, will closely reflect standards for male Soldiers, Seamen, Marines, and Airmen.
