According to the Department of Labor, the Unemployment rate is "7%" as of October 2012. However, among African Americans the Unemployment rate is "14.3%" and the Hispanic Unemployment rate is "10%" as of October 2012. Additional measures need to be taken to ensure that the Civil Rights Act of 1964 is being adhered to. We shall not forget why Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. spoke in Washington D.C. on August 28,1963.
