Equalize our rights as american jewsh citizens in the public education system.

Many Jewish people know that during the holiday season we do not get the same treatment from teachers, parents and administrators. this petition states that all "christmas parties" must be called holiday parties and cant just be focused on one religion such as christianity. for example at school we had a "holiday pep rally" (i go to a school with a lot of jewish people) but i realized that the band and choir were playing christmas songs and everyone was wearng santa hats. that day, the day before hannukah not one teacher or student mentioned hannukah. Also i reauest that all school districts with over 8% of jewish recive major jewish holidays off from school (yom kipur, rosh hashana, and purim) Just because we are not the biggest dosent mean we cant have the same rights as everyone else.
