equip all schools with new low cost technology created by CIT that uses terahertz waves to scan visitors.

Created by T.B. on December 16, 2012

We believe that America should equip all schools with new low cost technology developed at the California Institute of Technology that enables hand held devices to use terahertz waves to penetrate objects and produce high resolution images. This terahertz technology avoids the damage that can be caused by X-rays. Aside from being able to detect firearms, they can also be used to spot pharmaceutical drugs, biological weapons, or illegal drugs or explosives. A low cost can be achieved since the chips used in this invention are the same as those used to make the microchips found in our cell phones today. We cannot possibly know when any one individual is planning to harm our children and cannot eliminate guns. But maybe this new tech can alert our teachers and give our children a chance.
