Affirmative Action is a policy that is used by a majority of colleges in order to promote diversity at universities. Although diversity allows for one to experience multitudes of perspectives and understand societies that are different, it should not be allowed at the cost of hindering the educational opportunities of others.
Quotas that are set to obtain a certain percentage population of a race at a college is wrong and immoral. How could such limits be set on education? The capacities of individuals should not be impeded by the fact that only 10% of a race can be accepted into a certain college.
Undeniably, something needs to be done in order to fix such a flawed system, where despite one's ability, they may not be able to operate to their fullest potential.
