Apollo and its University of Phoenix (UOP) are a fraud on American taxpayers. UoP betrays any noble intention John Spelling ever nursed. Independent audit would reveal the school's sharp practices of criminal enrichment. UoP does not simply sell education, it sells financial aid, with education as a ruse. Take away financial aid, the charade collapses. After its recruiter scandals, the school sharpened other fraudulent antics to fill its revenue void; its dissertation system a case in point. UoP enrols and graduates ill-suited students, bartering their aid dollars. Good students and faculty are an exception. Many UoP faculty, even "research chairs," have no scholarly publication to their credit. They think, write and speak below AA, but hold high offices. FBI & DOJ, go to work please.
