Recent cases around the United States have made it clear that the Police at all levels of Government have little restraint on when to use Lethal Force against a suspect. Police are more often resorting to using their firearm versus using their non-lethal weapons. This use of Lethal Force has severely detracted from the trust relationship the people of this country have with the Police at all levels.
The people demand that standards for Escalation of Force and Rules of Engagement be created to govern Police at all levels in the United States and its Territories, the use of a firearm be used only when life is absolutely at risk, the use of non-lethal weapons become the weapon of choice for all police forces when subduing a suspect and independent civilian panels review all police shootings
