Establish an age when mandatory driver safety tests should be required to maintain a valid drivers license.

Created by J.K. on April 10, 2013

We require that before a young adult can obtain a drivers license that they must reach a certain age and most states required to pass a form of drivers education.

I am looking for legislation that will require re-education or mandatory skill testing of individuals over the 70. These test would be completed every other year to ensure that individual was not dangerous to themselves or others.

I do not consider this an age discrimination as we clearly require tests and similar requirements for the youth of our nation. I look at this as reaffirmation of driver safety.

I work in a profession that allows me to see how inexperienced drivers can cause accidents. Along with that I see how elderly drivers also become hazardous to their safety and the safety of others. I look for your support.
