Establish and publish results of mandatory background checks for federal office seekers

In light of the effectiveness of mandatory background checks in keeping legal guns out of the hands of criminals and unstable individuals mandatory background checks of all seekers of federal office, both elected and appointed, shall be established. The results of each background check shall be published in the federal register at least six weeks prior to any election or appointment.
