We ask the government to enact a new Bachelors GED type program. For too long, college students had to endure high student loans in order to educate themselves. Many students can't afford college or drop out due to various reasons. That opportunity should not be lost. There needs to be an good alternative. It should not cost a fortune to attend school. It can be low-cost.
The new BA-GED program can be split up in 4 exams, with each covering 4 years of study; similar to obtaining a Bachelors in Liberal Arts degree. There is no reason why such a program can't be created.
It is time for change in America. A time for innovation to occur in the education marketplace. The existing college market is taking advantage of students, rather than creating advantage for them.
