Nowhere does it say that political parties can hold the American people hostage while they force us over a fiscal cliff. This petition is designed for the people of the United States to tell ALL its political leaders that now is not the time to gamble with the income and retirement funds of 98% of the population. Now is the time for all political leaders – Democrats and Republicans – to put the country first and not their ideology. Now is the time for statesmen to stand up to the extremists of both parties and LEAD. We the People want leaders to govern.
We the People of the United States demand that our leaders resolve the fiscal problems facing our great nation.
