Establish the Chinese New Year's Day as National Holiday and recognize the importance and the value.

Created by M.K. on November 30, 2016

As the Asian population grows rapidly, their culture should be understood more in this country. Ideally, the Chinese New Year should be marked as a national holiday because of the cultural importance for the Chinese and other Asian population. The holidays in our calendar already consists of holidays from different cultures, and definitely the Lunar New Year has the same value. At least, more Americans should understand their cultural importance. Our nation is composed of a wide array of nationalities and cultural background. Among all, the Asian population represents a large percentage in the national population and is growing even more.
