The common sense law will require all politicians speaking on a subject to state their sources and background for the subject. This will give more weight to the speakers who are more educated within each subject presented.
Lawmakers will be required to site sources: news outlets, articles, and higher education, for each subject. If they want to stand up and assert that they have no knowledge and no source for a subject, then they will be free to say whatever they want, but no one would give weight to what they say
We need a common sense law to prevent assumptions, ignorance, hateful bigotry, and just bring a little civility and understanding to the table. If I had to site sources in high school, so should our law makers.
