establish a commission consisting of parents with children that face mental health illnesses to create treatment policy

Created by R.M. on December 16, 2012

Establish a National Commission led by parents dealing with pediatric mental health illnesses in one or more of their own children to develop new treatment policy that gives parents and providers (health, education, social) more viable options to adequately diagnose and treat these illnesses more effectively. Parents need help but not government intervention, just good policies that enable good teamwork for they and their children's providers. The key to stopping violence by adults that were children with mental illness is early intervention and effective treatment.
