Recently, President Obama described the stupid stuff we did in Libya as his administration's worst mistake. Goaded into that decision by officials and advisors with long histories of recommending the U.S. government should do stupid stuff abroad, such as the second Iraq War, President Obama would have served his country and the world better by standing by his famous "don't do stupid stuff" foreign policy doctrine. Citizens of the world are most concerned about American foreign policy. President Obama can cement his already formidable legacy - and, justify his Nobel Peace Prize - by recommending to his successor that he or she pursue his better foreign policy instincts: Don't do stupid stuff! Doing stupid stuff abroad is stupid, so we shouldn't do stupid stuff abroad.
