English should be the official language of the United States of America by law. It is unfair for immigrants who speak a different language to learn it and take all the steps necessary to be a part of the community, while some other immigrants don't bother learning the language. This is a land of opportunity and it has a rich history of immigration, but English has always been a big part of this country. Every country has an official language. Make the USA a country with an official language, too!
