Establish Fair Trade as a national policy.

Created by S.G. on July 09, 2014

The US needs a law that would make trade fair, rather than free.

Such a law would automatically penalize or reward trading partners based on that nation's environmental regulations, worker safety, wage disparity, crime rates, corruption, slavery, freedoms, and other humanitarian concerns.

This would protect American jobs from being shipped overseas to countries that don't play by the same rules.

It would also stimulate a worldwide renaissance in many, many areas, because it would be clear what a nation would have to do to be economically rewarded. That in turn would benefit people worldwide, increase employment and empowerment among the world's masses, and cut down on illegal immigration.
