Laws vary from state to state and mechanisms to calculate and establish long term financial implications for divorced families are out of date. Most methods do not consider the time involvement with children when it comes to child support, for example. Some states have begin an evaluation process (cyclicly) to review their laws, but many have not and do not care to focus on such as sensative topic. I have been told that sometimes, 'the law isnt fare'...REALLY??? I THOUGHT that the law is SUPPOSED to be fare.
Women are NOT the homemakers anymore...that is a shared responsibility...men are not the breadwinners always either...so why havent the divorce laws caught up with the reality layed down before us.
