Currently, states are allowed to manipulate voting access through subtle and not-so-subtle means, thus disenfranchising portions of the electorate. Requiring all states to allow early voting, vote-by-mail, and even online voting would level the playing field. This should become federal law (or Executive order) which requires such methods for a minimum of three weeks prior to any national election (Senate, House, or President), thus maximizing voter turnout. Weekend voting must be included along with in-person options for early voting.
