Income based tax bracketing harms the American economy because it penalizes hard work and lessens the motivation to earn a better income. More and more companies are leaving the US in search of a location in which they will not be penalized. Corporations are people, business are people. The sooner we make ALL Americans pay their fair share, the sooner our economy will rebound. Please consider the flat tax, as it is the fair choice for everyone. And not only that, it should stay the same forever. When Americans lose income, so does the government. We all should abide by a budget and this flat tax will encourage a more fiscally responsible nation.
