Establish Freddie Gray's Law. A law that grants immediate medical treatment when requested in custody for any reason.

Created by S.R. on April 28, 2015

Freddie Gray, a 25 year old man from Baltimore, died when in police custody due to injuries sustained while being apprehended. 80% of his spine was severed. Gray went about an hour without medical care after requesting medical treatment many times. Subsequently, Gray slipped into a coma and lost his life.

This law would give people in custody immediate medical care when requested.

Gray's death was senseless and avoidable. Don't let this happen again.
